Groom’s Niece Raped, Murdered In Banquet Hall In Meerut

Meerut, Nov 16 (TNA) In a horrifying incident, a 17-year-old girl was raped and murdered in a banquet hall during a wedding ceremony in Meerut late on Monday. The victim has been identified as the niece of the groom. Her body was found in the washroom of the banquet hall on Garh Road.

The baraati’s caught hold of the accused and beat him up. Police said that the accused youth Ravi Baliyan is a resident of Shamli and he was found in a drunken state near the victim. The family created a furore and police was called who arrested the man.
