Govindacharya Emerges Out Of Oblivion, Addresses Meetings In Agra-Mathura

Mathura, Sep 8 (TNA) Former RSS ideologue and 'nationalist thinker" KN Govindacharya is out of his oblivion and has started addressing a series of meetings in Mathura and Agra, stressing nature-centric development with a human face.

He joined several programmes at the Yamuna river bank to underline the importance of rivers. Govindacharya began his Yamuna Darshan Yatra on August 28 from Yamunotri in Uttarakhand. The Yatra aimed at promoting nature-centric development will end in Prayagraj on September 14.

Interacting with activists in Mathura, Govindacharya said the socio-cultural capital of society was the country's biggest asset. Sharing and giving are integral to this belief system.

Govindacharya visited the headquarters of the "Kalyan Karoti," a well known voluntary group, with secretary Sunil Kumar Sharma who briefed him about the rehabilitation work to support the disabled, and production of artificial limbs.

In Agra, Govindacharya interacted with river activists and participated in the evening arti at the Dussehra Ghat, near the Taj Mahal.
