Good Train Derails In Chandauli, Rail Traffic On Delhi-Howrah Section Halted

Lucknow, Oct 18 (TNA) Rail traffic on the important New Delhi-Howrah route has been badly hit on Monday as a goods wagon derailed in Chandauli district of Uttar Pradesh, an official of the Northern Railways (NR) said. The derailment happened at the DDU junction-Gaya rail section.

ADRM, RPF Commandant and a police team led by Superintendent of Police (SP) Chandauli Amit Kumar are present on the site of derailment. Efforts are on to clear the track but so far there is no confirmation on how long will it take for rail traffic to resume.
