Gangster Atiq Was Shot Eight Times And His Brother Ashraf Five, Reveals Autopsy Report

Prayagraj, April 16 (TNA) Autopsy of gangster-turned-politician Atique Ahmed has revealed that he was shot eight times while his younger brother Ashrah Ahmed had sustained five gun shots.

The post-mortem conducted by a panel of four doctors - Dr Deepak Tiwari, Dr Brajesh Patel, deputy Chief medical Officer (Dy CMO) Ravindra Singh and Dinesh Kumar Singh who is an assistant professor, was fully videographed.

According to the PM report, Atique Ahmed was shot in the head, in the neck, in the chest and in the waist while his brother Ashraf, who was also handcuffed with him on Saturday night when three assailants struck, had gun shot injures in the neck, one in the middle of the back, one in the wrist, one in the waist and one in the stomach. Of these while three bullets were lodged inside the body of the bearded Ashraf, two pierced him through.

After the autopsy, the bodies of the don brothers were handed over to the relatives and amid tight security they were laid to rest at a Muslim cemetry.
