Gangster Act Invoked On A Dozen Prayagraj Criminals
Prayagraj, Sep 2 (TNA) Acting tough on criminals, the Prayagraj Police has invoked the much-feared Gangster Act on a dozen criminals of the city. These criminals belong to two different gang and were involved in theft of cash from a marriage event of a judge’s brother.
This action has been taken by the Civil Lines Police against 12 miscreants of the Jackie and Indra Bahadur gang. The Jackie gang had struck at the wedding and decamped with jewellery and cash worth lakhs at the wedding ceremony of the judge's brother at a posh hotel in the Civil Lines area.
In the investigation, it was found that the gang members have committed such incidents in many districts of the state. The police arrested gang leader Jackie Kumar Sansi and other gang members and sent them to jail.
