Four Houses Collapse During Digging Of A Basement At Neighbouring Dharamshala In Agra

Agra, January 26 (TNA) A major mishap took place in the city on Thursday morning when four houses collapsed during the excavation in the basement of Dharamshala. Three people, including a small girl, have been rescued and admitted to the hospital. The Dharamshala is located on Agra City Station Road.

Taking cognizance of the accident, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed district officials to reach the spot and speed up the rescue operation. According to the information being received, the accident happened around 7.30 am. The local people accused the Dharamshala Trust of negligence.

Anjani Kumar, ADM City said that three people have been rescued so far, including a 4-year-old girl. Rescue operation is still going on. It is being ascertained that no other people are buried under the debris.
