Former ED Officer Rajeshwar Singh Wins Sarojininagar Seat On BJP Ticket By Record Votes

Lucknow, March 11 (TNA) Former Joint Director of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) Rajeshwar Singh, who took voluntary restirement to join BJP and contest the state assemblye elctions 2022 has logged a historic victory from the Sarojininagar seat in Lucknow.

He won by about 57 thousand votes and got 49.13 percent votes, while SP’s candidate and former UP minister Abhishek Mishra got 31.81 percent votes.

Sarojininagar is one of the largest assembly of Lucknow district. Rajeshwar Singh had campaigned vigorously and held 250 meetings in 20 days and also walked several hundred kilometre.
