Five Killed In Chitrakoot As Janrath Bus And Bolero Collide Head-On

Chitrakoot, November 21 (TNA) Five persons, including a child, were killed in a road mishap on Tuesday when a Bolero collided with a Janrath bus. Six persons have also been injured in the accident. The mishap took place near Bagrehi village on the National Highway in Chitrakoot district. DM, SP and police personnel have reached the spot.

The police admitted the injured to the district hospital and Ramnagar hospital in three ambulances. Whereas, three critically injured have been referred to Prayagraj. According to the information, the deceased is a resident of Madhya Pradesh, efforts are being made to identify him.

The Janrath bus was going from Chitrakoot to Prayagraj while the Bolero was returning towards Chitrakoot. The main reason behind the incident is said to be that the Bolero suddenly came in the wrong direction, which led to the collision.
