Fire At Savoy Grand Hotel In Lucknow’s Gomtinagar

Lucknow, April 13 (TNA) A massive fire broke out at the Savoy Grand hotel late Wednesday, police said. The fire started at the basement of the plush hotel located in Vibhuti Khand of Gomtinagar. Within no time the fire reached the ground floor after which the staff tried to douse the fire but to no avail.

Thick smoke lead to difficulties in controlling the fire. According to latest information, fire tenders and others are trying to contain the fire. While it is not clear why the fire took place, short circuit seems to be the initial suspect.
