FIR Against Scribe For Defamatory Youtube Video On Navneet Sehgal

Lucknow, March 23 (TNA) Additional chief secretary (Information &PR) Navneet Sehgal has filed an FIR against a local journalist for transmitting “wrong, baseless and defamatory content” on his youtube channel. According to information, the senior and powerful bureaucrat, has taken the editor of ‘Drishtant’ magazine Anoop Gupta for broadcasting content which was wrong and defamatory on his Youtube channel recently.

The FIR has been lodged in the Hazratganj police station under sections 500, 504, 506, 34, 120-B of the IPC and section 66 of the IT Act. In the ten-minute video, Gupta ahd made outrageous comment on the senior bureaucrat, who has been one of the most sought-after officers in successive governments of Mayawati, Akhilesh Yadav and Yogi Adityanath.
