Finolex Industries, Madhav Foundation Donate Medical Equipment To Save Lives In COVID Pandemic

Lucknow, May 15 (TNA) Amidst an acute shortage of oxygen concentrator and ventilator in rural parts of India as the second wave of Covid-19 rages on, Finolex Industries Limited in collaboration with its CSR partner Mukul Madhav Foundation on Saturday donated 15 oxygen concentrators and 12 ventilators, 12 ventilators for King George Medical University, Lucknow, SGPGI, RML Institute of Medical Sciences, State Cancer Institute, Lokbandhu Hospital.

The medical equipments, a spokesman said have been made available at Raj Bhavan which will be sending them shortly to the concerned institute soon. The representative of the Madhav Foundation also informed that in addition to the above, each of these institutes will also be given kits- Mask (250), Gloves (250), PPE Suits (100), Thermo-scanner (2), Oximeter (2), Paracetamol 300 Strips and 25 Oxygen Concentrators.

The Mukul Madhav Foundation said that they have also met the requirement from Siddharth Nagar and Gorakhpur districts and have provided 5 oxygen concentrators and 2 Ashok Leyland-built ventilators (Automated Respiratory Assistance Device (ARAD) in each district there. All this work was possible only with the help of volunteers, partners and other well-wishers, who put forth their hands to implement the ground work and help the needy, it said further.
