Father Consumes Poison After Feeding His Four Children Poison-laced Food, Three Die

Lucknow, August 17 (TNA) in a heart wrenching incident in Mirzapur district of Uttar Pradesh, a man fed his four children poison and then consumed it too. The family was rushed to the community health center (CHC) for treatment from where they were rushed to district hospital for urgent treatment as their condition was bad.

An official informed that the father and two of his children died while being treated. The condition of two kids is very critical. At the time this incident happened, the lady of the house was away on a daily wager job.

According to the information, Rajesh and his family lived in Kanshiram Aawas located in Chunar police station area. It is reported that Rajesh had mixed poison in his food on Tuesday afternoon.

After eating, Vijay, Dheeraj, Suman and Sadhana's condition deteriorated and they were brought to Chunar Community Center for treatment. When there was no improvement, he was shifted to Mirzapur District Hospital

Father Rajesh and 2 children have died during the treatment. ASP Mahesh Singh Atri said that the incident took place in the afternoon. The reason for this extreme step is yet to be ascertained.
