Family Over speeding To Board A Train In Varanasi Meet Fatal Accident, Three Killed

Varanasi, July 21 (TNA) Chasing a train to ensure that the family caught it on the next station proved fatal for a family on Wednesday as the speeding car rammed into a vehicle coming rom the other sids as the driver lost control and jumped the divider.

The mishap took place on the Prayagraj-Varanasi highway. Three people including a woman in the car died in the accident and one is battling for life. The accident was so bad that it took hours for the police to rescue the people trapped in the car. The incident took place near Rajatalab Birbhanpur of Rohaniya police station area.

Police arrived but it took several hours to rescue the people who were badly trapped in the car. But by then Lilavati, her grandson and Ajit died. Shailesh has been sent to the hospital in a serious condition.

Akhilesh Patel, a resident of Andawa, Prayagraj, works in Sahara Parivar Finance. Akhilesh Patel's mother Lilavati and eldest son Ashutosh had to board a train from Prayagraj to go to Siwan in Bihar. Lilavati, Ashutosh, Ajit and Akhilesh's younger brother Shailesh left for the station at four in the morning in a car.

Shailesh was driving the car. In the front seat, Ajit, Lilavati, his grandson Chandan were sitting in the back seat. When all four reached Prayagraj station by car, the train had left. In such a situation, everyone decided to go to Bhadohi's Gopiganj station to catch the train from the next stop.
