Failing To Follow COVID Protocol, Lucknow's Fun Mall Sealed By District Administration

Lucknow, April 1 (TNA) In a major offensive against those not following the COVID protocol and guidelines, the district administration in the state capital Lucknow cracked the whip on the Fun Mall and sealed the complex on Thursday.

According to officials, the action was taken after repeated warnings to the Fun Mall management, asking it to follow protocols with regards to the Coronavirus pandemic.

The Mall in Gomtinagar was sealed after an on ground inspection by SDM (Sadar) Prafull Tripathi. A notice had bene issued to the Mall on March 20 but it had failed to comply with it. It was alleged that the Mall as allowing in people without the mandatory mask and some other protocols were not being followed. On instructions of district magistrate Abhishek Prakash, the Mall was sealed thereafter on Thursday.

With growing cases of COVID in the state capital, the district administration is tightening the noose on all the individuals and institutions not following the laid down guidelines.
