Even As Corona Cases Dip In Lucknow, Experts Warn Against Letting Down Guard

LUCKNOW || If trends are to be believed then Corona infection rate seems to have come down with proper checks and balances. While over the past several days things have been rather positive, health experts continue to point out that it is important that one must not lower his or her guard. Even the PM ahead of the festive season in his national address reiterated the same.

The number of hotspots is gradually decreasing in the capital. It is reported that in the coming days, there will be more holidays and more people will come out of their homes, so more precautions are needed now.

Information coming from the health department suggests most concentration of infections is from Indiranagar, Alambagh, Gomtinagar, Madiaon, Rae Bareli Road, Aliganj, Talkatora, Vikasnagar, Jankipuram, Cantt, among few others.

There were 354 hotspots in Indira Nagar, 338 in Gomtinagar and 245 in PGI. In October, it has now come down to 100.

While there are protocols in place, a hospital has been allotted to 87 patients. 53 patients have been admitted in these. The remaining 34 patients had agreed to remain in home Isolation. It is a matter of relief that compared to September, patients have reduced significantly in October.

The number of Corona infected patients has only recently reached the lowest. In the first 12 days of October, the number of cases has been reduced to within five thousand. A steady look at the numbers shows that the number of patients is decreasing every day.

In September, the number of patients in Gomtinagar and Indira Nagar reached 85, while now this number has come down to 30. In many areas the number has come down to less than 10. There were 354 hotspots in Indira Nagar, 338 in Gomtinagar and 245 in PGI. In October, it has now come down to 100.

An appeal has been made from the administration that the COVID protocol must be fully followed during the upcoming festivals. Special care must be taken when it comes to elderly, pregnant women and children. Yoga and pranayama should be done regularly to avoid Corona and keep the body healthy. Along with this, there is a need to be more vigilant on occasions of festivals. Do not exit the house unless necessary.
