Drunk Driver Mows Down Man Out For Morning Walk In Lucknow

Lucknow, April 9 (TNA) A drunk driver mowed down a man in Lucknow Krishnanagar loaclity on Saturday. The deceased was on his routine morning walk when the tragedy struck. The victim has been identified as Naveen Dutt, who was out for a morning walk at 5:00 am. He was seriously injured in the accident and was rushed to the Lokbandhu Hospital where the doctors declared him brought dead.

At the time of the accident, the constable present near the bullion market caught four people including the car driver. The police have registered a case on the complaint of the brother of the deceased. The driver Himanshu Mishra, who was caught by the police, was found drunk. Inspector-in-Charge Alok Rai, said a case has been registered and due legal course of action will be taken.
