Dropped From Yogi 2.0, Mohsin Raza Named State Haj Committee Chairman

Lucknow, March 31 (TNA) Former UP minister Mohsin Raza has been named the chairman of the state Haj Committee. An order to this effect was issued by the state government on Thursday. Raza, a foirmer cricketer was a minister of state for Minority Welfare in the BJP government headed by Yogi Adityanath.

He was however dropped in Yogi 2.0. The 54-year-old was one of the prominent faces of the party in its minority outreach and his not being repeated in the state government had disappointed his supporters. He was replaced by Danish Azad Ansari in the new BJP government.
