Dreaded Gangster Rashid Kalia Killed In Encounter With Jhansi Police-STF

Lucknow, November 18 (TNA) Dreaded gangster, notorious for kidnappings and murders - Rashid Kalia was killed in a gun battle with the Jhanso police and the Special Task Force (STF) on Saturday. Wanted in many cases of murder, extortion and kidnappings, Kalia carried a cash reward of Rs one lakh in Kanpur and Rs 25,000 in Jhansi, on his head.

Police was on look out for him in a murder case in Jhansi and the infamous Pintu Senger murder case of Kanpur. He was killed in a hoot out in Mauranipur on the Jhansi-Khajuraho highway. An officer informed that the deceased criminal used to give orders for kidnapping, extortion and would also order executions.
