Dreaded Criminal Vinay Shrotiya Killed In Gun Battle With STF In Agra

Agra, January 11 (TNA) A dread criminal - Vinay Shrotiya, who was absconding for some time was gunned down by the Agra police in an encounter with him. The gun battle took place bettween the Special Task Force (STF) sleuths and the criminal.

Retailating at the fire opened by Vinay Shrotiya he was shot when STF responded. In injured condition he was rushed to a hospital where the doctors declared him dead. A pistol was recovered from him. He has escaped from police custody from civil court where he had been brought for appearance and was on the run eversince.

Shrotiya carried a reward of Rs 50,000 on his head. The encounter took place near Akbara of Sikandra police station area.
