DNA Sampling Of Eight Suspects To Be Done In Dalit Family Murder Case Of Prayagraj

Prayagraj, Nov 28 (TNA) The police will soon be conducting a DNA test of ten people on suspicion of their involvement in the murder of four members of a family in Phaphamau last week. The samples of these persons has been collected already.

Senior police officers inspected the site of the incident on Saturday. Once again all the aspects have been carefully examined. 8 suspects have been arrested so far. Police have registered a case against 11 in this mass murder case. Sections of murder, rape and SC-ST Act have been slapped on all.

Eight of the named accused have been arrested. The rest are suspected to be hiding in Mumbai. A team is being sent for them while one accused is in a hospital. There is a brick kiln adjacent to the house of the deceased. He has four sons. Out of which one of the sons used to come to the house of the deceased.

The deceased was also known to the girl. The police has taken the son into custody. At the same time, according to police sources, the kiln owner and son were also questioned by the police on Saturday. The Yogi Adityanath government is facing flak on the incident by opposition parties who are alleging that Dalits and weaker sections are unsafe in his government.
