Direct Flights Between Moradabad-Lucknow Begin From Today

Lucknow, July 10 (TNA) After a long wait, the direct flight from Moradabad airport to Lucknow will start from today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had inaugurated this airport on March 10 before the Lok Sabha elections, but the flights could not start, now after a long wait of five months, this dream is going to be fulfilled. According to Fly Big Company, the first flight will depart from Lucknow to Moradabad at 07:50 AM and will land at Moradabad Airport at 09:05 AM.

An hour later, this aircraft will depart from Moradabad at 10:05 AM to Lucknow and will arrive at 11:05 AM. When the first flight reaches Moradabad, Fly Big Company will hold a press conference at the airport. According to the online records of Fly Big Company, about 70 per cent of the seats have been filled for the first week.

There will be flights from Moradabad to Lucknow on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. There will be a flight facility from Moradabad three days a week, Fly Big Company's 19-seater aircraft will reach Lucknow from Moradabad in about half an hour. After getting permission from DGCA, HPCL company has also stationed fuel tankers at the airport. Construction of a fuel station will also be started soon for permanent availability of fuel.

The base fare from Moradabad to Lucknow has been fixed at Rs 999. Passengers will be able to reach Lucknow, 350 km away, for around 1300 rupees inclusive of GST and other taxes. But one has to reach the airport 40 minutes before. It takes at least five hours to reach Lucknow by train.
