Dignitaries, Bureaucrats Call On UP Governor, Greet Her On Diwali

Lucknow, Nov 14 (TNA) People from the staff, commoners, politicians and bureaucrats called on the Uttar Pradesh governor Anandiben Patel on the occasion of Diwali on Saturday.

Prominent among those who met her included UP BJP chief Swatantra Dev Singh, Lucknow Mayor Sanyukta Bhatia, minister Swati Singh, chiefs secretary RK Tiwari and DGP Hitesh Chandra Awasthi.

Others who visited the Raj Bhawan and met the governor included additional chief secretary (DIPR) Navneet Sehgal, additional chief secretary (medical education) Rajneesh Dubey, ADG Security BK Singh, District Magistrate Lucknow Abhishek Prakash, Lucknow University Vice-Chancellor Alok Kumar Rai and many journalists.

Before this, additional chief secretary Mahesh Kumar Gupta and other senior officials with the Raj Bhawan secretariat along with staffers, fourth class employees and outsourced employees met Patel, who gifted them sweets on the Festival of Lights.
