Dense Fog Engulfs Lucknow, Visibility Drops Drastically

Lucknow, December 9 (TNA) Dense fog engulfed the state capital of Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday night. While the day was moderately warm despite some icy winds blowing from time to time, late in the evening, around 8 pm, suddenly the city was wrapped in a thick layer of fog.

Visibility also dropped drastically. Traffic police has been put on alert, an official said. There are many weddings in the city and the cops have asked people, specially those commuting late night, to drive slowly and to take abundant precaution.
