Decomposed Body Of A 35-year-old Found In Prayagraj Flat

Prayagraj, Nov 25 (TNA) Decomposed body of a 35-year-old woman was found on Thursday evening in the doctor's flat near Rambagh intersection. It came to light only when residents of adjoining flats felt some foul smell emanating from that area. The Kotwali police entered inside by cutting the channel and breaking the door. There was no cloth on the woman's body.

There is a lurking suspicion that this could be murder. The doctor had kept the woman in the flat as a caretaker. The police have said that the reality would only come to the fore only after the post-mortem.

The incident happened at a three-storey building situated near the Rambagh intersection and is named Deora Sadan. Below is an ultrasound center and other shops. There are 17 flats on the second and third floors. A flat situated on the second floor belongs to Dr. Dipendu Mitra, a resident of Pritam Nagar. He is the Head of Oncology at United Medicity. Prior to this he was a Cancer Surgeon at Kamla Nehru Hospital.
