Cyber Criminal Gang Busted In Prayagraj, Three Arrested

Prayagraj, May 14 (TNA) The Prayagraj Police has busted a gang of cyber criminals which had duped people from across the country of crores of rupees by creating a fake website. IG Rakesh Singh told that two businessmen of the city, Mohd. Saeed and Sonali Jaiswal were duped of lakhs of rupees in the name of Easyday franchise. On receiving the complaint, the Cyber ​​Police Station registered a case and started investigation.

On Friday, the police busted a gang that cheated many people across the country by cloning the website. Cyber ​​Police has arrested three of its members. This gang used to cheat people in the name of giving franchises and government schemes by creating fake websites through cloning. Two businessmen of the city were also cheated of about Rs 18 lakh.

During interrogation, the criminal confessed not only to have defrauded two city businessmen of the city but also of carrying out incidents of fraud worth crores across the country. On the basis of the information received from him, two of his associates Abhishek Sharma resident of Ratlam, MP and Ratnesh Bharti resident of Nawada Bihar were also arrested. After questioning all three, they were arrested.

Two Wi-Fi sets, three laptops, 10 mobiles, one passport, six cheque books, four passbooks, 26 ATM cards and other items were seized from the cyber criminals.
