Criminals Sustain Bullet Wounds In Noida Police Encounter, Arrested

Noida, Oct 13 (TNA) Two criminals were arrested by the Nodia Police on Wednesday after a brief gun battle in sector 39, an official said. The duo was wanted in many crimes where they would give lift to someone and then rob them in the car.

They were intercepted during a routine checking and they tried to flee with the vehicle, which met with a minor mishap later. The police chased them and in the encounter that ensued, two of them sustained bullet injuries in their leg.

During combing they were arrested and a stolen car, Rs 47,000 were also seized from their person. Some illegal weapons have also been recovered, the police said. Noida police has been hounding criminals for the past few months, with many being arrested after encounters.
