Criminal Arrested In Shamli With An AK-47 And 1300 Live Cartridges

Lucknow, April 5 (TNA) In a signficant success for the Uttar Pradesh Police in its ongoing drive against crime and criminals, a hardened criminal in Shamli was arrested with an AK-47 on Tuesday. Four magazines and more than 1300 live cartridges were also seized from the criminal. The criminal ahs been identified as Anil alias Pintu.

He is a member of the dreaded Sanjeev Jeeva gang and has been in prison on the murder of Vikky Tyagi. The Thana Bhawan Police made the arrest. A luxury car and a mobile phone has also been seized by the police. During interrogation he told the police that the AK-47 and cartridges had been purchased by him and a friend for Rs 11 lakh.
