Couple Arrested By UP ATS In Prayagraj For Being Involved In Naxalite Activities

Prayagraj, March 5 (TNA) the Uttar Pradesh ATS on Tuesday arrested a couple, both accused of being involved in Naxalite activities from Prayagraj. The husband and wife were wanted under Section 120B and Section 121 of IPC in crime number 4/19 in the year 2019 filed at ATS Lucknow.

Both are residents of Pritam Nagar, Jayantipur of Dhumanganj police station of Prayagraj. A case was registered against 7 people on 5 July 2019. The couple were also accused in the case. All of them were accused of being involved in a conspiracy to carry out Naxalite incidents in various states of India.

During investigation, two accused Manish Srivastava and Amita Srivastava were arrested in 2019 and sent to jail. Also, investigation was going on against other accused named and who came to light. The electronic devices they were using were seized and sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory for testing as per rules.

On receipt of evidence (FSL Report) in the year 2023, 02 accused Brijesh Kushwaha and Prabha, previously named in the above case, were arrested and sent to jail. In the said FIR, investigation was underway against the accused Binda Sona alias Manju alias Suman and her husband suspect Kripashankar and after examination of the FSL Report (which was received this month) of the electronic devices (laptop etc.) seized at that time, many such archival evidences were obtained which the above two accused were accused of being key members of the Communist Party of India (Maoist), which is a banned Naxalite organization in India.

In the year 2010, UPA No. 30/2010 Section 120B/121A/420/467/468/471 IPC was registered by STF Uttar Pradesh in Kanpur Nagar district. And Section 13/18/20/21/23 (2) U.A. Kripashankar Singh was arrested in (P) Act police station Kidwai Nagar, Kanpur Nagar, in which he got bail in October 2016.

They are also accused of being involved in a conspiracy to plan a war against the Indian nation and for this, people of the lower capitalist class like farmers, labourers, etc. It has been proven to entice people to work for the organization.

Kripashankar Singh is originally from Kushinagar and has completed polytechnic education from Deoria. After this, in the year 2004, this NGO run by Binayak Sen and his wife Alina Sen in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. Started working by joining "Rupantar".

At the same time, he met Binda Sona alias Manju Niwasani, working in an NGO, Kota Basti police station, Abha Bazar district, Raipur. NGO. While working in this, these people got married and joined the banned Naxalite organization CPI (Maoist). On the instructions of the organization, both of them came to Delhi in the year 2007-08. From Delhi, again in the year 2009-10, he started organizing work and propagating Maoist ideology among farmers, laborers and students in the rural areas of Deoria Kushinagar of Uttar Pradesh.

After being released from jail, Kripashankar and his wife Binda Sona again got involved in Naxalite activities. Since then, continuously working with the top officials of the Central Committee and Political Bureau of the CPI (Maoist) in the 2U region of the organization (Uttar Pradesh and North Bihar region), secretly propagating and disseminating Naxal/Urban Naxal activities in Uttar Pradesh.
