In Lucknow, Ankit Shukla died of COVID, plunging the media world in the state capital into sadness.

There have been many deaths in recent past of journalists due to the deadly virus. Only two days back Sacchidanand Gupta 'Sacche' passed away. Meanwhile many politicians, including ruling party vice-president and MLC Vijay Bahadur Pathak tested positive for COVID.
