Contempt Of Court Case Filed Against Former MLC Haji Iqbal, DIG Declares Rs 50,000 Reward

Saharanpur, Nov 17 (TNA) A contempt of court case has been registered against former MLC and mining mafia Haji Iqbal alias Balla in Saharanpur. Mirzapur police has filed a report against Haji Iqbal for not appearing in the court.

At the same time, the police is trying to find the mining mafia with a reward of Rs 50 thousand. Action has been taken against him from the court to issue non-bailable warrant and an attachment notice. Now the police is preparing to take action to attach it.

About 30 cases have been registered against Haji Iqbal in many other police stations including Mirzapur, Behat, Sadar Bazar, Women's Police Station, rape, land grab by threat, illegal mining, loot, dacoity, cheating etc.

In many cases the police is looking for him. His four sons Abdul Wajid, Javed, Alishan, Afzal and younger brother Haji Mehmood Ali are also lodged in jail.
