Committee Constituted For Timely Implementing, Completion Of Kanpur Mega Leather Cluster Project

Kanpur, December 16 (TNA) Hours after the Uttar Pradesh government announced the setting up of a 'Mega Leather Cluster' on a 235 acre land in Kanpur, the administration swung into action with regards to the ambitious project. While no formal communication has reached the officials here the divisional commissioner Raj Shekhar set up a dedicated committee for the project.

"To ensure the Timely implementation and completion of the project, Commissioner has set up a Dedicated committee at Kanpur level for Monthly review & supervision of the project" the high-ranking official informed the media.

The committee, the maiden meeting of which will be held on December 21, will comprise of the Commissioner, DM Kanpur Nagar, joint director industries, SPV Incharge, Nodal officer of UPSIDA and ADM Land Acquisition of Kanpur Nagar.
