Cold Wave Intensifies, Schools Upto Class VIIIth Closed Across UP Till January 14

Lucknow, December 29 (TNA) With heavy rains in most parts of the state, adding to the winter bite, the Uttar Pradesh government on Wednesday ordered the closure of all schools upto class VIII from December 31 to January 14, an official informed.

The state has been reeling under and intense cold wave for the last two days and it is likely that with more rains and fog in the coming days, it is likely to intensify further.
