Chandauli Police Arrest Heroin Smuggler With Rs 70 Lakh Contraband

Chandauli, July 28 (TNA) During checking at the PDDU Nagar railway station, the Government Railway Police (GRP) on Wednesday arrested a smuggler with heroin worth Rs 70 lakh.

The smuggler was taking a consignment of the contraband from West Bengal to Delhi. In the interrogation conducted by the GRP, the smuggler has given the names of some people. Based on this, the GRP is further investigating the matter. With some more arrests in this case, a bigger netwrok can be discovered, an official said.
