CB-CID To Probe Death Of A Girl In Chandauli During A Police Raid To Nab A Gangster

Lucknow, May 11 (TNA) The Uttar Pradesh government has decided to get the case of the death of the girl which took place during the police raid in Chandauli, to be probed by the CB-CID. Additional Chief Secretary Home Avnish Kumar Awasthi has issued orders to this effect. Six police personnel have already been booked in this incident.

On May 1, a team of local police went to his house to arrest history-sheeter Kanhaiya Yadav of Sayedaraja police station area of ​​Chandauli district. It is alleged that both the daughters of Kanhaiya were beaten up by the policemen who went to raid.

Due to this, a daughter Nisha Yadav (22 years) died. After the incident, the SP suspended the SHO of Sayedaraja. When the matter was raked up by the opposition parties, a case was registered against six police personnel.
