Case Filed Against Five UP Cops After Son of RSS Leader Hangs Self In UP Village Alleging Police Brutality

Baghpat, July 27 (TNA) A case has been filed against five policemen, including an inspector and 11 cops have been sent to police line following the suicide of an RSS leaders son in Baghpat. The deceased had alleged police brutality. Reportedly the inspector barged into the house of an RSS leader Sri Nivas, after he had field a complaint owing to some scuffle at a Covid vaccination help.

The inspector Binoli, Chandrakant Pandey entered the village with the police and they broke into several houses and beat men and women and vandalized them. Women were also abused and abused. No man was at home at that time. After the beating, the police had also picked up 2 women from the house to the police station.

On the evening of July 26, a crowd had gathered for vaccination in Ranchad village of Binauli. The police were called on the spot to make arrangements but the police badly beat the three youths there. During this, the villagers clashed with the police and the uniform of a policeman was torn. Inspector Chandrakant Pandey of Binoli took the case in the form of an attack on the police and registered a case against several villagers, under draconian sections.

Information about the case reached Lucknow overnight. After the intervention of senior BJP leaders, SP Abhishek Singh has sent to lines 11 policemen, including police station in-charge Inspector Chandrakant Pandey.

To take revenge, Binoli Inspector Chandrakant Pandey entered the village with the police of himself and a nearby police station and they broke into several houses and beat and vandalized them. The house of RSS leader Srinivasa was broken into and the women of his house were beaten. Women were also abused and abused. The trophy was that no man was at home at that time. After the beating, the police had also picked up 2 women from the house to the police station.

At around 9:30 pm, the body of Srinivasa's son Akshay was found hanging from a tree in the field. In the case that took place at the vaccination camp, the police had made Akshay the accused and were looking for him. Seeing the excesses of the police on his family, Akshay committed suicide.

After this, the leaders of BJP, Rashtriya Lok Dal, SP and other parties along with the villagers reached the spot against the police and created a huge commotion. Police officers rushed to the spot and somehow calmed down the people and sent the body for postmortem. After assurances of action, the villagers and leaders left on the spot.

A case has been registered against Inspector Chandrakant Pandey in charge of Binauli police station, SSI Udham Singh, Head Constable Salim and two constables Ashwin and Murali in the police station on the complaint filed by RSS leader Srinivas.
