Car Rams Into Truck In Kannauj, Five Doctors Killed

Kannauj, November 27 (TNA) A major road accident took place on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway in Kannauj district of Uttar Pradesh in the wee hours of Wednesday. A speeding car went out of control, rammed into the divider and then collided with a truck. In this accident, five doctors travelling in the car died on the spot, while another youth was injured.

All five doctors were posted at Saifai Medical College and were returning to Saifai from Lucknow. This accident happened near the 196 kilometer cut in Tirwa Kotwali area. This accident happened at around 3:43 am, a police official informed. The ill-fated vehicle was a Scorpio car (UP 80 HB 0703) which was going to Agra.

The driver reportedly dozed off and the car broke the divider and came from Agra to Lucknow and collided with truck number RJ 09 CD 3455.
