Both Sons And Brother Of Mukhtar Ansari Interrogated By ED For Over Two Hours

Prayagraj, May 9 (TNA) Don-turned-politician Mukhtar Ansari's brother Afzal Ansari and both his sons, were interrogated by sleuths of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for over two hours on Monday. Afzal Ansari is the Lok Sabha MP from Ghazipur.

It is alleged that a cold storage has been built on the land of Gram Panchayat in Vikas Construction Company Swara Mau. This cold store has been given on rent to FCI, through which the Government of India has been duped of crores. In this case, the police had registered an FIR last year. Based on this case, the ED had registered a money laundering case last year.

The ED investigation revealed that some money coming in the name of Vikas Construction was transferred to the bank accounts of Abbas and Umar. Both the brothers have movable and immovable properties in Mau and Ghazipur.
