Body Of Young Girl Found In Suitcase On Yamuna Expressway, Has Bullet Wound On Chest

Mathura, Nov 18 (TNA) In a shocking incident, body of a 25-year-old girl was found inside a red-coloured suitcase at an abadoned spot on the Yamuna Expressway on friday afternoon in Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh.

She has been shot in the chest and her body also bore many injury marks. An officer said that prima facie it appears that the girl was killed somewhere else and her body dumped in Mathura. The identity of the girl is yet to be ascertained and her body has been sent for postmortem.

On Friday afternoon, some laborers saw a red colored suitcase near the State Agricultural Farm located on the service road of Raya Cut of the Expressway. At first they thought that this suitcase must have fallen from a car. Some passers-by also stopped their vehicles near this suitcase.

When they went closer, they saw blood oozing from the suitcase. After this the police were called. The body had been packed in polythene and kept in a suitcase. The girl was wearing a black T-shirt and pants. Forensic team has also reached the spot.

Mathura Police CO Alok Singh said that efforts are being made to identify the girl and pictures of the deceased are being sent to all the nearby cities. Suspicion is that she could be from neighbouring Noida, Agra, Hathras and Bareilly. Police has started questioning the hotels and roadside eateries of Link Road connected to the expressway. CCTVs installed here are also being seen.

The height of the girl is about 5 feet 2 inches, of fair complexion, black hair. A red thread is tied to her wrist, indicating that she was a Hindu.
