Body Of The Brother Of A Shooter In The Umesh Pal Murder Found In A Field In Kaushambi

Kaushambi, March 10 (TNA) Dead body of Sabir's brother Zakir, a shooter in the sensational Umesh Pal murder, has been found in a field, on the banks of Ganga river, police said. Sabir carries a cash reward of Rs 2.5 lakh on his head and is being hunted by several teams of the UP STF and Police. Police has initiated a probe into the matter.

According to the police, there was no trace of blood at the scene. The police say that wild animals have scratched and eaten his dead body found in Kokhraj police station area of Kaushambi in Mahmadpur village. Shooter Sabir's uncle Shamsuddin and sister identified the dead body.

Sabir and Zakir are residents of Mariadih area of Puramufti police station area of Prayagraj. Shooter Sabir is absconding ever since his name surfaced in the Umesh Pal shootout case. Sabir's brother Zakir was sent to jail eight years ago on charges of killing his wife. He was released from jail on bail only a few months back.
