Body Of Missing Ghaziabad Industrialist Found Lying On Link Road

GHAZIABAD || A businessman Ajay Panchal in Ghaziabad who had gone missing since Monday evening was found dead on Tuesday. His body was found lying on the Link Road side. On Monday night, a report of kidnapping was lodged at Sahibabad police station. After this, during the investigation, late Monday night Ajay Panchal's car was found parked in deserted near Haj House.

Panchal, who lived in Rajendra Nagar, had a wire cable factory in the Rajendra Nagar Industrial Area. About one o'clock on Monday afternoon, Ajay left home from the factory to have lunch. But he did not turn up at home and a worried wife tried contacting him on phone but his mobile was switched off.

His wife informed relatives and checked on possible places he could have gone. When he could not be located till late evening, a jittery family lodged a complaint with the police.

Ajay Panchal's Brezza car was found abandoned near the house at around eight o'clock. After this, in the early hours of Tuesday, the body of Ajay Panchal was found on the roadside on the link road. There are no bruises on the body. It is feared that Ajay has been strangled to death. His mobile phone and purse have not been found.

SHO Sahibabad Vishnu Kaushik said that the body has been sent for postmortem. Surrounding people are being questioned at the scene as well as footage of CCTV cameras around Link Road, Rajendra Nagar and Haj House are also being searched.
