Body Of Missing Galgotias University Student From Bihar Found In Drain, Family Accuses Five Mates Of Murder

Ghaziabad, Oct 16 (TNA) Body of a B.Sc student was found in an open drain in Jewar on Saturday, police said. The deceased was studying at Galgotias University and hailed from Bihar. The family has accused his colleagues of murdering him and a probe has been ordered to ascertain the charges.

He had gone missing about 4 days ago from Galgotia University in Dankaur Kotwali area. Police have taken the body in possession and sent it for post-mortem. The relatives of the deceased student have lodged a complaint with the police accusing five university students of murder.

Yashashvi Raj (21) originally from Bihar was a second year B.Sc Agriculture student at Galgotia University, who used to study in the hostel located in the university. Family members say that from the evening of October 12, he had come to Dankaur town with his three friends for some work. After which he did not reach the university hostel.

When the family members came to know about it on October 13, the student's maternal aunt Anita Devi resident of Delhi had lodged a missing complaint about her nephew. Since then the police was busy in search of the student.
