Boat Capsizes In Ghaghra River In Lakhimpur Kheri, A Dozen Feared Drowned

Lakhimpur Kheri, Oct 20 (TNA) At least a dozen people are feared to have drowned after a boat carrying them capsized in the Ghaghra river, police said on Wednesday. The mishap happened at the Mirzapur village of Thana Isanagar area of ​​Dhaurhara tehsil of Lakhimpur Kheri district.

An eye witness account said the people were washed away in the strong current of the river, which is in spate due to heavy rains in the region. The number may increase or decrease.
