Blinded By Fog Two Cars Collide In Lakhimpur Kheri, One Dead

Lakhimpur Kheri, January 16 (TNA) Even as the day temperatures have increased and bright sun is shining in most pasts of the state, fog continued to disrupt vehiclar traffic in Uttar Pradesh on Monday. Due to fog, two cars had a head-on colission in Lakhimpur Kheri district on Monday, leaving one woman dead and two injured.

The injured include a policeman Hanumant Tiwari, posted as the Station House Officer (SHO) of Sampoornanagar police station. The injured have been admitted to Community Health Center (CHC) Palia where they are stated to be out of danger. The mishap took place at the Nighasan Palia state highway.
