BJP Lawmaker From Ayodhya Handed Five Year Sentence In 29-Year-Old Fake Marksheet Case

Lucknow, Oct 19 (TNA) BJP MLA from Gosaiganj seat of Ayodhya, Indra Pratap Tiwari aka Khabbu Tiwari has been sentenced to five years in a 29-year-old case regarding cheating and misappropriation with the help of documents coded in the mark sheet and back paper in Saket College.

Along with the MLA, former president of the student union and SP leader Phoolchand Yadav and National President of Chanakya Parishad, Kripa Nidhan Tiwari have been also accused of crime.

After this, Special Judge (MP/MLA Court) Pooja Singh sentenced the three accused including BJP MLA Inder Pratap Tiwari Khabbu to five years each. A fine of Rs 19 thousand has also been imposed on the trio. After the verdict, the three accused were ordered to be sent to judicial custody amidst tight security arrangements.
