BJP Announces UP Candidates For Rajya Sabha Polls, Former DGP Brij Lal Figures In The List

LUCKNOW || The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) announced the names of its 8 candidates for the Rajya Sabha elections to be held in Uttar Pradesh shortly.

According to a statement released by the central unit of the party, union minister Hardeep Singh Puri has been named as the party candidate from UP.

Arun Singh, former minister Hardwar Dubey from Agra, Neeraj Shekhar, son of late prime minister Chandra Shekhar, Geeta Shakya, BL Verma and Seema Dwivedi have also been named from the state for the Rajya Sabha elections.

Retired IPS and former UP Director General Of Police (DGP) Brij Lal has also been named for the Rajya Sabha by the BJP.
