Big Relief In COVID Pandemic As AAP Rolls Out 'Oxygen-Auto Service' In Lucknow

Lucknow, May 17 (TNA) In a big move that would go a long way in helping people in distress during the ongoing COVID pandemic, the Uttar Pradesh wing of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Monday launched an 'oxygen-auto service' aimed at taking COVIOD patients to medical facilities.

Five auto rickshaws were flagged off in the first phase by Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh in the state capital. All the drivers have been trained in basic operation of the 10 litre oxygen cylinder fitted in the vehicle and have been also given PPE Kits, masks, shields and sanitisers for their own safety as well, chief spokesman of the AAP in Uttar Pradesh, Vaibhav Maheshwari told TNA.

He further informed that already ten such autos were operating in Varanasi, which was gasping for oxygen and people are availing the service provided by AAP. People looking for transporting a patient to a medical facility can call at 9818430043 to avail this service sponsored by AAP.
