Big Decision In Gyanvapi Mosque Case, Court Commissioner To Stay, Entire Mosque To Be Videographed

Varanasi, MAy 12 (TNA) In a big setback to the Muslim side, the court in Varanasi on Thursday rejected their demand of removing the court appointed commission and also said that every corner of the mosque will be surveyed.

The court has ordered to complete the survey of the mosque before May 17. The court said that till the action of the commission in the mosque is not completed, the survey will continue. The report of the survey will have to be submitted to the court on May 17.

On the basis of 56(c), the Muslim parties had demanded the replacement of the Court Commissioner, which was rejected by the Civil Judge. On the basis of 61 (c), the Muslim side had opposed the survey inside the mosque. The court also appointed two assisting hands for the commissioner.

The court, while rejecting the demand of the court commissioner of the Muslim side, appointed two more special commissioners - Vishal Singh and Ajay Pratap Singh. Commission’s work will take place between 8 am and 12 pm.

The court has said that action will be taken against all those who oppose. Justice Ravi Kumar Diwakar delivered the verdict.
