Basic Education Clerk In Hardoi Nabbed Taking Bribe

Hardoi, May 19 (TNA) A clerk of the Basic Education department was arrested on Thursday for taking bribe. He was nabbed by the Anti-Corruption Lucknow team for taking bribe of Rs 10,000. He had sought the bribe in lieu of making arrears of Rs 7 lakh to the employee.

The clerk is being sent to jail as per laid down procedures, DIG Anti-corruption, Rajiv Malhotra informed. The name of the arrested clerk is Zainul Abdeen. He was working in BSA Office Hardoi as a clerk.
