Azamgarh Police Seize Smuggled Liquor From Punjab Worth Lakhs

Azamgarh, February 8 (TNA) In a big success, the district police seized 23 boxes containing 19452 bottles of English illegal liquor from Punjab during checking at a check post. The joint team of Rani Ki Sarai Police and SOG busted this consignment. The police have also arrested an accused.

The seizure was made on tip-off of an informer after which Rani Ki Sarai police station and SOG team caught a truck from the check post during checking. The estimated price is said to be anywhere between Rs 50 to 60 lakh.
