Azamgarh CJM Orders Filing Of Case Against Kusum Rai, Asks Police To Act

Lucknow, Oct 9 (TNA) A court in Azamgarh has ordered filing of a case against foremr Rajya Sabha member of the BJP Kusum Rai, also a very associate of late Kalyan Singh, and 10 others in a two-year-old case involving demolishing of a boundary wall near her maternal home. This order has been given by Azamgarh Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Yashwant Saroj to Bilariaganj Police Station.

In this case, the victim Vigyan Ratna Rai, resident of Manpur police station, Bilariaganj, had given an application in the court through his advocate. Vigyan Ratna Rai alleges that there is a family dispute with his cousin Shravan Rai.

It is alleged that Shravan Rai's real sister Kusum Rai, using her political influence, keeps conspiring against them and that at midnight of October 22, 2019 a JCB machine started demolishing the boundary wall of the hospital run by uncle Vijay Rai.

The JCB machine was being run by Ehrar Ahmed alias Allam. During this, mainly Kusum Rai, Anil Rai, Gaurav Rai, Kiran Bala Rai, Shravan Kumar Rai, Manju Rai, Rudra Prakash Rai, Ramesh Rai, Tariq Anwar alias Tannu, Ziauddin, etc. were involved in the incident.
